We work in the field of Old Master Paintings as well as dealing in Impressionist and classical modern pictures. We are glad to have you view our website!
 
Every painting we offer for sale has been thoroughly researched by us and is accompanied by a scientific documentation. This is not only standard for us, but also our pleasure. Dr. Helmut Philipp Riedl has received a Ph.D. in art history and has spent years in research institutes such as the Bibliotheca Hertziana in Rome or the Central Institute for Art History in Munich. Several books and scientific articles on Old Master painters from the 14th to the 18th century have been published by him in the past. He also spent several years in the Old Master Pictures and Drawings Departments at Christie's London. Therefore, we have been able to establish contacts with specialised scholars and colleagues around the world. Their competence also leaves its mark in our research.
You can see us at art fairs in Germany, Austria, Belgium and France. Or visit us at our premises in the heart of Munich. Prannerstrasse, where we are based, is known to collectors for decades. Here you find quite a few specialised art dealers door by door, in a street characterised by splendid buildings of the 18th and 19th century like the Hotel Bayerischer Hof or the Palais Seinsheim and the Palais Preysing.
We shall be glad, to send you invitations for evening receptions and vernissages, which take place from time to time in the gallery. Usually they are focussed on an artist or one particular subject. Recently, we were able, to present watercolours and drawings by the leading German expressionist painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, which came from the artist's estate. Co-Host of the evening was the Zurich Cantonal Bank.
Many art lovers and collectors have gained confidence in us over the years and we feel honoured and priviledged by their trust. Also, museums and institutions have acquired works of art from us, such as recently the Réunion des Musées Nationaux de France and the Musée Curtius in Liège.
